Tunes and Tales Benefit Show for BVUUF

I’m so happy to be part of this show this year! Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, in Lafayette, CO, has been a gracious home to our story circle, and I’m glad to be able to share some stories as part of their fundraiser on Sunday, March 9, 2025. That’s the day the time changes to Daylight Savings, and the show is 3-5 p.m. I’ll be telling one of my favorite folktales, from Korea, and an almost-true story about my spouse (with his permission).

Here’s what the ticketing page will tell you:  Pete and Joan Wernick will provide the music that has made them famous. Three local storytellers will share a variety of tales; you can decide which are true. Laura Deal is the 2024 recipient of the National Storytelling Network’s J.J. Reneaux Emerging Artist Award. Wynn Montgomery and Carol Pranschke, who are regulars at this annual event, will share new stories. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. All proceeds support Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship!

I hope you can join us!
